nick_GTI Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 As like alot of people i dont like working under my car on just a trolley jack. So bought some axle stands and according to the haynes manual you put two stands at the back of the car and one in the middle towards the front of car. But where it says put two at the back on one side i cant simply because the exhaust is there. Its a magnex backbox. Just wondered where other people put there stands? Cheers, nick
M4TT Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 on the back sill near the rear wheels is sometimes used
Muzz Posted September 12, 2005 Posted September 12, 2005 Never had a problem using them on the rear axle and there is also two jacking points at the front of the car parallel with the jacking points on the sills for the standard Ford jacks.
