bs099 Posted September 15, 2005 Author Posted September 15, 2005 dont want to act supid but how many screws holding dash in? need to get to clock, is it a snap on job ?? anytips guys?
Muzz Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 Remove the dash by pulling out the heater controls and unplugging the two switches either side of the steering wheel. There is then two screws above the speedo clocks which you unscrew, then pull the dash and it should unclip and come straight out. Take the plugs out from the clock and heater lights. Once the dash is out you will have access to the back of the clock which is held in with 3 phillips screws. Unscrew them, job done.
Lambo Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 Also watch the little clips that hold it in place go everywhere

Carl160180 Posted September 17, 2005 Posted September 17, 2005 Nice one matey looks good thinking about changing mine already only did it last sunday, I've used the old style RS one in black but seeing as my car is a TDi it does quite "fit" so in the process of designing my own "unique" clock face watch this space
