alarm/ central locking fitting

just got myself a toad ai606 and want some help/pointers on wiring it.

 

is the central locking possitive or negitive trigger locking?

allso need to know the lock/unlock and +12v wires on the motors, ive got 6 to chose from, 2 x white/blue, red/yellow, yellow, white and brown. i pressume the earth is brown?

 

im allso unsure as to what i should imoberlize, ones the starter motor but it doesnt show the other one/ how to wire it so if any could pm me how to's or owt like.

The central locking on the Escort is negitive pulse, about a 500ms pulse should do it.

 

As far as I remember it uses the White (lock) Yellow (unlock), may have them mixed up its been a while!

 

Yes earth is brown.

 

The starter immobliser just goes in series with the starter wire from the back of the ignition switch (this will be the thiner of the (4) wires on the back of the ignition switch as it doesnt carry as much current as the aux / ignition circuits). However if you have a red transponder in your ford key then your car already has an imobliser fitted so you dont need to connect anything there.

the central locking on a mk6 is actually + pulse.

well ive installed and it works apart from the central locking - about to wire tht in, boot pin switch doesnt work - alarm dont go off when u open boot. and the imoberlizer is allways armed but i aint connected them up, but everything else is ok
