father_ged Posted January 29, 2006 Share Posted January 29, 2006 im home now... finally! was a funny day, the engine is out of the orion now. god only knows wot they would of done without me and for all those people goin on about driveshafts... not 1 cv boot was touched, drain the gearbox oil, released the hub away from the shock, lower arm and trackrod, then undone the brake line, and with ralph pulling on it, and me levering the shaft (complete with both cv joints attached) away from the gearbox. easy! we had an hours worth of conversation about fisting mikes car is still not fixed. him and muzz were trying to take the brake hose off of ross' old car, to put onto mikes, which took them ages. and when they eventually got it out, mike broke it trying to fit it to his car overall, a wicked day, stupid conversations, name calling... blah blah. but its done now. next... engine out of the black escort, and put it into the orion Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Left Ralph's about 10:30/11pm and got in at 5:50am after doing a full 410 miles straight with no sleep . All in all i think a good weekend was had .
