recently, ive been getting huge static shocks off the car's chassi.......

like i mean real bad ones! they used to be tiny but ever since i earthed the sound system to the chassi its got worse, just about half an hour ago i got out the car, forgot about the shock even tho its been doing it for like 3 months, touched it, and it was the biggest one yet, my hand went numb for a couple of seconds.....any one know how to stop this?

instead of driving gloves invest in a pair of marigolds!!!!! :D :D

Thers loadsa things that could be charging you, but Id check your stereo first mate :)

If it aint that, have a look round your house to see if any of the internal doors have "dropped" on their hinges. If they are rubbing the carpet as they open/close then that can "charge" you up hence the shocks. Truth that is mate.
