Posted December 18, 200222 yr if u are familar with this dash u will no wat im on about on friday afternoon im goin to spray my interior. now the heater element part i have off, but can get the parts of where the air comes out (cant remember wat they are called - u can direct where the air travels to with them) also the parts were u determin wether air should come out or not (u move these up and down how the f**k do u take these out, cant find any screws etc
December 18, 200222 yr the "director grille things" pop out slightly upwards and towards you. use a screw driver either side (with insulating tape around so as not to scratch stuff) they u can yank the entire unit out if u stick ur hand throught the gap u r left with. is tricky tho and u need small hands and it talkes alot of wiggling. :devil2:

December 18, 200222 yr they come out with the second part (the fitting yur hands though the gap and yankin the whole unit out. then u can see behind and its obvious....

December 18, 200222 yr in a word ...... yes. i would suggest a bodshop job. if u ruff it up with some steel wool and degrease it it should be quite cheap. if u r close to oxford i know someone who has all the kit and is excessively reasonable.
