i heard that some mk6s have heated front windscreen? is it a ghia thing and does it work and can it be grafted into an SI?

Had one on my old L reg Ghia. Was great to have, took about a min to defrost a frozen screen As far as I know it can be fitted into your car with the right looms etc

i've had a heated screen put in mine, you'll need the screen, dash switch and engine bay loom with relay, the loom from fuse box to dash switch is already in place. you'll need to plug loom into plug next to abs module and mount relay on bulkhead somwhere. si cabbys have them as standard and ghia x's

Mk6 RS2000 have them standard

got one in mine as standard

mines got one, and I think the wing mirrors are heated as well

got one in my orion and ive got heated mirrors too

yea i 'had' one in my escort, u could have the bits if u wanted, but the windscreen smashed

i`ve got heated mirrors and i didn`t even realise!!!! they heat up when you got the heated rear window switched on

im after a new one actually cos mines got a big crack down the middle from a tile hitting it

hmm these heated wing mirrors.... are they the big elephant ear ones or the little ones?

dunno what is heated on mine, i check when it's icy again.
