Can any one tell me is it possible to fit 16c.m speakers in the front doors of a mk 6, 5 dr cos I've got my eye on a nice set of Alpine components.

 

Autoleads sell adapter plates that will let you fit them in the oem position..

 

You may have an issue with mounting depths tho..

 

I advise you buy and fit the adapters first.

Yes it is possible but its the depth you need to watch, like Cappy said. I put a pair of Alpines in my doors and the windows wouldnt open cos the bottom was hitting the magnets on the speakers

trial and error is the best way bit of a pain in the ar*e though
