anyone know what insurance group the vectra 1.8 is and the group a 1.6 16v mk6 escort is, reason being my moms trading her escort in for a vectra, and is wonderin the group diffrences to see if she can add me safely onto the car as a named driver.

kinda depends on the model, ghia, si etc but bout group 7 or 8 on the Escort (apart from convertible) and mostly 9 to 11/12 on the Vectra.
