Pete
I think its only you two with braided hoses I think I know why my hoses are all over the shop. When I ordered them Rally Design said I'd have to lose the anchor point on the arch liner, but looking at them today R-Tec have kept them so the hose comes through the liner, then straight up and back down again creating a U bend before screwing into the caliper. Its the curve of the U bend that rubs on the inner rim of my wheels. Do your hoses do this or should I have them so they come through the liner, lose the anchor point, and just route them straight to the caliper Sorry its long winded but I needed to make myself clear
jp
i cant answer that, but i still have standard hoses and i know for a fact that they do 'u' bend before they are anchored
Pete
If I remember righty the U bend in the standard hoses is moulded into the shape But the braided jobbies aren't so when bent they stick out more

Flat_Steve
Yeah, as far as I remember the braided hoses bend in all the same places as the originals, they certainly shouldn't be rubbing against the tyre which is probably quite dangerous. Who fitted them? If it's a garage take it back straight away and get them to fix it!
Pete
R-Tec fitted them, they only rub on full lock, on the very edge of the rim, so I'm hoping they can do something with them, if not the old ones will have to go back on Or is it cos I need 18's
