Digi cam requirement

my parent just bought a 1.3 millon pix digicam and looks nice, but im after 2 million but there will work fine on here just, but i dunno if a 2 millon one be to powerful for our computer as it 4 yrs old, Pentuim 2 500hz i think 256mb do u know if a 2 million one be ok or shall i get 1.3 as i like my own so i cna take where ever i want ot

get the better one, your computer will handle it, u can always turn the quality down

I was looking at digicams in Argos the other day and they had a sign up basically saying that the pix rating should relate to what size photos you wanna print out, so shouldnt really make much difference on here

your right it dosent matter what megapixel you get (the more megapixels the better quality pics youll get) just resize em afterwards on your pc and they will still look the nuts quality wize..

theres one in the argos catolugue for £150 and i think that 2 million pixels - thats the one im getting
