zetec turbo anyone?

Thats not a bad price allthough far from complete.

If the hybrid is in good nick its worth the asking price alone, but wouldnt bother with that manifold.

Makes you wonder why he's selling it on e-bay when he could flog the turbo elsewhere, other parts arent worth much either, the modded sump wouildnt cost much to do and there not a lot else to it, as I said far from complete.

i did a turbo convertion in my old CABBY did it in 6 weekends from scratch in a council lock up with no electric etc best to go with the escort lump as it's allready mfi fueled so no need to swap the fuel tank/lines, engine mounts all meet up as it is the same engine just internally different.

well hes my dads mate, wen i mean not thrashed i mean like redlineing all the time, of course its hit the red a few times but not much, and as hes my dads mate and wants the engine out of his garage

 

so if £200 good then ?(

200 notes isnt bad for the engine but your gonna need the loom, gearbox presume complete with turbo so a modded zaust to carry on from the down-pipe (get this aswell) bigger breaks or at least new disks and good pads, is your suspension up to the job?

It is fairly straight forward but would be much better to get both cars side by side and swap it all bit by bit.

 

Get it all from an escort RST if poss cus then you'll have a slip diff and it should pull the car better than the fiesta RST (cus onions quite heavy) due to the bigger turbo.

 

If you want it to last though I would be inclined to have a rebuild with neccasary parts as all RST's have had a hard life!
