I have a 1993 British Escort that had a 1.4 cvh but i swapped the engine for a 1.8 zetec, since that inplant i have not had a good run out of it. In the morning its starts then shuts of immediately after a few starts it will throttle ok. I would like go down the road and it would stutter like its getting too much gas, if i turned of the engine and restarted it it would rev out clean so its like the reading is wrong i really dont know, i do have a 2.0 MAF on this specific engine i dont know if thats the problem......another thing is that on my wire loom it did not have the connections for the Mass Air Flow(MAF) so i got diagram which i am not sure if its the correct one and wired it in, it works in some ways because when plugged of the car shuts of.... I am really fustrated I AM LIVING ALL THE WAY IN JAMAICA AND NEED SOME ASSISTANCE PLEASE!!!!!!!
