ok so if i was to drop my car wats the issuse some one said wish bones and arches can be a problem sump? maybe wat else?

bumps in the road and sudden inclines (drives, country roads, pot holes)

i doubt VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY much you could drop it so low to start clipping the sump BEFORE the cat/middle box & ruing arches/wheels

rite ok thanks thats sort fing i want 2 no bout wat the issuse are when u drop the car

Arches are only going to be a problem if your wheels are over 17"

Wishbones will be wrecked quicker the lower you go

Full springs & uprated shocks are the prefered option , coilovers if you can afford em.

Lots to be considered but depending on more details of said car, body kit, wheels, tyres, wheel offset

& how low your intending?

State your prefered setup & we can help more :D

if i was to drop on -40mm on 17"'s and full uprated shocks, what can i exspect??

atm im thinking 16 dwn 40mm or 17 dwn 40 mm and atm its will be on a lowering kit but wats all the uprated shocks about?
if i was to drop on -40mm on 17"'s and full uprated shocks, what can i exspect??

Ill let you know on saturday when trig drops mine 8)

& fox by uprated shocks i mean rather than the cheap option of dropping it on just springs like me it is better to change for matching shocks to help wear :D

40mm on 16s.....fine

40mm on 17s.....fine

i've experianced both, when you were saying you wanted to 'drop it on it's belly' i was expecting summit silly like 80mm+

MikeCs blue..... scrap that

MikeCs banger GTI is around the 70mm marker on 16's he says :thumb:

15's ;)

my bad lol

still thats probs the lowest escort i've seen

mine is lowered -60mm of 17" wheels and it scrapes on almost every speed bump.

Mines dropped 40mm on 17s, with springs and shocks,

hardley scrappes, on speed bumps, but get some arche rubbing when i am turnin and hit a bump.
