Went to Elvington air strip today to view a trackday, it was shite but put me in the mood for the country lanes on the way home 8)

It was hard holding the camera to the dash and trying to drive, but i got about 40 seconds footage then thought id stop before i put it through a hedge or smash into the rear of the car infront

Its only 6.9MB: http://s13.photobucket.com/albums/a262/mrm...¤t=DSCF0731.flv

Dunno mate, dont have a rev counter  But i dont like revving it to high anyway, i look after my engine

Revving high dont ruin your engine :thumb:

Bouncing off the limiter may, but not revving high :P lol

Mine will quite happily rev the tits to 7k lol

ANYWAY.... your exhaust is very throaty :thumb:

Id rather see a video of you showing your car cleaning techniques, as you get one of the best shines on here. :)

Ditto  If you never rev a zetec and drive like a granny, it'll get so clogged up with Shite it'll break anyway :D

I give it some beans on the motorway, just wanted to get through all the gears before i reached the first bend, i was holding the camera to the dash with the other!!!

I'll remember that next time I drive you round 'like a granny' then... 8o :))

And the higher you rev an engine the faster it will wear out, cams, followers, bearings, they'll all wear out faster at higher speeds! :)

Zetec tip in/out's so bad that at high revs you're effectively smashing the crank from overrun to power every time you put your foot on the throttle anyway!!

You look after ur engine mate... :thumb:

Looking forward to watching the video when I get home

Every zetec engine will live on the limiter and be perfectly happy providing it has the basic maintenance :D

Banchester, next time you find yourself accelerating in 2nd, hold it until it bounces, so you get to know your car!!

New phone has decent video capability.....
