When i have my car on the drive, if i rev it up while somebody stands at the back you can see the black smoke coming out of it.

Any idea what this is? At a guess does it mean its burning oil? lol.

Is this just since its been standing danny, as mine did it after standing last week, just condansation & stuff m8 if it is 8)

Edit: just noticed you said black sh1t coming out :))

I take it youve drained the flushing oil out now & replenished it fella?

No mate not yet, it said on the bottle its alright not to take it out and it can work while you drive, but it hasnt hardly been driven while its been in there. Im changing the oil tomorrow morning.

I was thinkin it would be because of that stuff i put in the oil lol.

Probably all the black sh1te out your engine blowing through then mate :D

if it doesn't stop then it might be your stem seals or piston rings.

ill do an oil change tomorrow and then take it for a bit of abuse.
black smoke is fueling issues... NOT burning oil! thats blue smoke :thumb:
could it possibly be a dirty/clogged up air filter mate? i haf haf a pigeon (thats what it looked like) in my air box an it ran like crap an smoked all over the place!

id say definately a fueling issue.

they some times do it when the coil pack starts to play up. it dosnt send a good enough spark therefore not causing all of the fuel to burn or summit along those lines.

maybe dodgey plugs, or the injectors a bit naff, of the regulator.

one way to tell if its over fueling is to see where the oil level is and if it smells petrolly. if its much higher, petrol could have got into the oil, thus there is more liquid in the sump. this could mean that the fuel pressure regulator is fannied up.

The oil doesn't smell of petrol. But obviously when behind the car there is a very strong whiff of it.

Could it be anything to do with the MAF/sensor? If that was fucked would it cause it to overfuel or not?

i'm sure if they go king dick, then it will overfuel to be safe :thumb:

try a new set of plugs, ford or bosch ones and reset your ecu and try that :thumb:
