Fuel tank capacity and MPG

I get around 300 miles from a full tank of petrol and 350 if I drive steady.

 

Is this roughly the same for everyone else?

 

Does someone also know what the fuel capacity in liters is?

iirc, they're 55 litres but unless you run out completely, you'll never fit that amount in and that mileage seams abit low tbh, as i get 340 miles to a tank in my car which is only 8 litres bigger and thats town driving, averaging 27mpg

I tend to drive the Escort hard most of the time, The Spanish seem a lot more laid back about speeding and there are no speed camera's. I've not really been keeping a close eye on it but I can get about 46 litres in when it's really really empty so that's why I was asking about tank capacity, seem to remember getting more in than this at some time.

its a 55 litre tank but even when u drive it til its so empty it stutters u can only fit 47 litres in,suggesting that 7 or 8 litres is still in the tank when the pump cant suck it any more (due to nooks and crannys in tank) and when i fill up sometimes i keep on putting it in til it comes up the pipe

 

U shud get 280 miles when driving hard,and ive seen 450 driving like a granny,and i mean proper granny,so slow it was annoying people
