MK3 Cabriolet SE info?

hey,

 

i was reading performance ford and i saw a mk3 escort cabriolet with a full RS turbo body kit, upon reading the article i seen that it is actually an SE model that the magazine says is very rare,

 

well i know for a genuine SE that i can have for the bargain price of FREE, at the time i didnt think much of it since its battered and would need a total restoration and i didnt know that the SE was a rare model,

 

i was hoping that someone would have some information on this model and how rare it actually is, and if its worth getting and restoring..

 

any help will be GREATLY apreciated

think there was only around 500 made.and it basicly looks like a s1 rs turbo but without the roof/engine

if thats the case, do you think it will be worth restoring?

i think it would mate. Maybe send a letter or email to the classics mag or the ford mags asking for info.

 

And grab this car for now so it dont go anywhere on u.it may not have the prestige rating of things like the RS1600 but its prob just as rare,value may be slightly lower

dunno if spend alot of money on one.

i had a se before, as said rst kit, but mine had a mk4 front end, and a mk4 rear bumper. sold mine for i think 850. They all seem to go for about that on ebay
