wizard101sco
Out of curosity, how would you manage to get the polished trim look if you had stock 5 spoke alloys?

karl
Out of curosity, how would you manage to get the polished trim look if you had stock 5 spoke alloys? i'm not having a polished rim on mine. but i guess if you want to do it, spose i'd be the same as a motorbike wheel. mask off the part of your wheel that you dont want polished (not with masking tape as that is absorbant), then get some nitromores(sp) paint stripper and remove the paint of your rim. then get the finest wet/dry sand paper you can, about 1500grit and use an alloy polishing compound. and polish like there's not tomorrow. however you may find your finger slightly smaller after, lol only prob with that is you either have to polish them every week to get rid of the crud and stop them from corroding, or get them clear coated, but then you'll lose some of the mirror shine.
