PeeWee
I can only think that the new head unit is now using the permanent live rather than the accessory live.Change the pins on the ford adapter cable round?
Fran
Peewee is right. The Pioneer headunit will have the wrong wiring configuration. DOes the stereo keep losing its memory for radio stations or is it just always on? If it is losing the memory stations then you need to take it out and change the yellow and red wires around. If it is on constantly then I would say that the permanent and switched ignition lines are both being put into the permanent feed. Hope that makes sense and helps dude. Fran
It all depends oh how it was wired in. Are you just using the standard wiring from the car? or has it been re-wired?? If it is always on then I would say that both power lines are going into the permanent live, its weird but could be the reason.
