Mk6 Si Ross
not sure if there are any legal limits like there is with driving hours but i know recently a bloke killed someone when he drove home after doing a 20hr shift at a factory in East Anglia region recently and the company was fined for allowing him, they stressed the importance of rest in terms of health and safety
BlairM
I think it's 8 hours 'rest'.
bluliz
pretty sure its 10 hours but it can be less if....you dont mind or choose to do it. Then cant make you work a "late" then and "early" but they can ask you and you can accept.
Craig855S
its either 10 or 11 that they cant force u to work. for instance they cant rota u in for a x-9PM shift monday and then start any earlier than 7 (or maybe the next morning. however u can volunteer to work earlier than the minimum. I think its 11 hours EDIT: Why the fcuk is the number eight a smilie, and why the hell give the edit button to paid members, they get enough perks over us without getting the edit button all to themselves. ITs Fcuking lame, just makes the forums a mess when we have to double post

BIG STU
8 hours is the magic number working shifts offshore we are supposed to have 8 hours between shifts on changeover but that rarely happens
