STEPHEN Posted July 23, 2006 Share Posted July 23, 2006 can switch be fiited in the door panel (say beside speaker) to operate the electric windows i already ahve a switch beside the gear stick but i keep going to the door to put my window up/down and thought mayb i could add a switch there if this can b done would it be a matter of just joing into the wirng thats running 2 the switches already there or what is involved cheers what sort of wire would b needed Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

L or Encore. if you just want to add a switch to the door, then get one from a mondeo sunroof or older granada. like thistons on ebay and for £2 posted a bargin. it would be a case of run the wires to the door and up to the switch. use the sam size wires as already in place for the current switch. wires: 2 will be for the LED, 1 up, 1 down and ground. well thats the way i would have thought they wire up.
