Timmy_GTi
My nice shiny new alloy wheels have just been delivered and when I went to fit them, the wheel nuts from my existing wheels (Standard GTi alloys) won't fit in the hole on my new wheel as the tapered bit is too wide. Is there anywhere I can get narrower wheel nuts so they fit in the hole? To be honest it looks like it's gonna have to be a ridiculous nut to fit in and then getting a socket in should be funny. I asked the company before I bought them if they'd fit and they said yes....Hmmm. Has anyone else bought Kei RSS wheels or had a similar problem cos this is really annoying me now Tim
Craig855S
normal wheelnuts dont fit a large range of aftermarket wheels,u have to get a special type that have a special socket with them that grabs the face of the nut and turns it. I have 16 lockers on mine with a key that fits them all,and i put my brace on the key
Timmy_GTi
So where would I get those wheel nuts from and how much are they roughly?! Hopefully not much as the wheels kinda took all my money Tim

father_ged
let me guess... bk racing alloys? the nuts are a lot narrower than the standard ones
Fran
You should have got a fiting kit with the alloys. Especially since the nuts have to be narrower!
Ex-Finesse
Has anyone else bought Kei RSS wheels let me guess... bk racing alloys?Spot on there Ged Tim, these really are an ultra slim design... I beleive. I'm not sure a standard open wheel nut would fit! I remember Mike Cs Arospeeds, which were a very similiar design! Sorry, can't help ya though. Timmy_GTi
Well I phoned a company called Speed Shack and they were very helpful and sent me 1 nut for free to see if it would fit and it did so i phoned them again and ordered a set. £31 for the whole lot and the key to fit them. Not too shabby. Tim

ScORTED
the hex is not a locking tool you can remove them with an allen key - you can actually buy locking "tuner" nuts thats is what the skinney b*stards are called
