Ex-Finesse
I bought this from Dave_20, but am selling simply because I'll be purchasing a Grp A / F2 tarmac spec beam for my car. I have checked all over the beam, and all ARB bushes are fine. The calipers are painted red and there is masses of pad life. One back-plate has rust around the edge, and I have also angle-grinded away a small area from one of them as I was experimenting with standard escort FRONT calipers, which are the same bolt pattern! You will not notice once on the car, I am just being honest. It is structually solid, and the discs also have plenty of life in them (no lip IIRC!!!!!!). Looking for £140 for it. Would be able to meet at a convenient point for some petrol, or possibly at a show! Item in Maidstone, Kent. Pics on request. Thanks, Ralph. escort_matty
how easy are thay 2 fit m8?
Ex-Finesse
Haven't fitted one myself, but looks easy enough. 2 large bolts for the front of the 2 arms, then reattach the shock. Sure someone else will be able to confirm though.
andrewg1323
Only remotely comple bit is bleeding the brakes! An assistant helps a lot with the fitting, when i first fitted mine i had to lie under the car with the entire beam on my chest which kinda sucked! ploppy
i got one of these and in the middle of refubing. the whole thing is fooking heavy and i nearly got a hernia getting it out of the breakers. it is so much lighter when the brakes and stub axles are unbolted, ie its probable best to assemble it once the bare beam is in place.
