Chappers
Well, been driving 3 years now and it seems that going by a lot of my friends i should have had many cars by now... but i haven't. 5 Days after my 17th birthday April 10th 2003 i got this beasty: Standard 1.8 TD LX, one lady owner 76k miles FFSH (her Husband managed a Ford garage too so had money thrown at it and things were done right ) Lovely little car, so i put my own stereo in it, some XR4i alloys and sorted out lighting When I was 18, a little accident saw it in the garage where for 3 weeks i put 9 hours a day into prepping it and finally had it sprayed, new wheels, lowered, etc. etc. Then I went to uni, couldn't take it with me so when my sister got a job, i was handed this BEAST.. a 1.8 NA-Diesel Mk6 ... if anything it made me appreciate BLOOness but then it went wrong... (snapped a gearbox mount ) Edited October 4, 2006 by Chappers
Chappers
so for £350 bought this lightning fast 214k estate TD: and felt the need to spray the wheels gold Sold that after 6 months use and ABUSE for.... £921 Which brings me to this summer, where my car got bummed but i still couldn't stop spending on it and so it's now tucked up in the garage for another winter... may see the road again, may not... would love to turn it into a track beast with a FRST engine or something and strip it out and show Ralph who's really king What next? Mondeo runaround? Supra? Bloo: the Revenge? Who knows Edited October 4, 2006 by Chappers
Ex-Finesse
AFPMSL @ the green estate!! Heap doesn't begin to describe it!! Personally, I still reckon you should bloo up a mk6 3door. Defintely use the original bloo mk5 front end parts though.... so the legend will live on

Chappers
Couple of additions to this then... 2007 summer til november i had this EPIC BEASTICLE of a van. Ex-british nuclear energy van.. it had a strange pattern of rust one side, but had only done about 30000 miles. Some say it survived a nuclear blast... others say nuclear power stations are near the sea and it was always parked the same way round. All we really know is, it was SH*T http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v128/davidc158/IMG_0585-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v128/davidc158/IMG_0579.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v128/davidc158/IMG_0597.jpg I got bored of the van very quickly and so looking in the Pistonheads classifieds found an absolute peach of an RS2000. Had some good times in that car and surprised many unsuspecting people in cars that should be a lot faster!! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v128/davidc158/Rs%20020309/DSCF1202.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v128/davidc158/Rs%20020309/DSCF1231.jpg and now... onwards and upwards i've bought the Focus RS #2545 - 20000 miles, it's like brand new http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v128/davidc158/DSCF1242.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v128/davidc158/RSDetail8.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v128/davidc158/RSDetail9.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v128/davidc158/EngineBay3.jpg Thought i'd drag up this thread for some of the proper n00bs to see... seeing bloo has brought some memories back though
