I was just looking through and wodnering where Bloo was... not in a scrapyard I hope.

The Focus RS looks awesome, love the splitter on the front, improves the front end loads. Guess you graduated and got a good job after uni?

Yes mate, now work at Jaguar doing engine calibration and tyre testing. Stay in school kids!

iirc it was/is gas bottle bloo :P nah sommat about skyline blue???

so is bloo still living chappers???

andi remember that estate with the pimped gold wheels :pancake:

the foci looks sweet as mate.. :thumb: you got anything planned for it??

The blue car is still with me, it's in a bit of a state though. Engine fully broken and a bit mouldy inside. I could really do with dragging it out and having a play but I just don't have the space or the time. Probably just going to let it rust in peace now. I could try to sell it I guess but 1) No one would want it and 2) I probably wouldn't want anyone to have it!

Only thing planned for the focus is to slowly return it to standard for about a year's time when I'm bored and sell it! Going to play the (3differentcarsayear)_Al game now I think.

bloo's colour is either trophy blue (mg) or the subaru variant which almost exactly the same.

It's a secret I'll take to the car's grave. None of the aforementioned colours in this thread. MG trophy blue is dull by comparison!

Bloo and the RS look smart. What did you study at uni out of interest.(and because you now own a Focus RS :thumb: )

I did a 4 year Masters in Mechanical Engineering at Warwick University :)

In August 2009 I passed my motorbike test and bought this:

A 2007 Suzuki SV650. Great beginner bike, but a little lacking in any kind of character or soul.

After the Focus RS I decided to get into the world of RWD, so in February 2010 I bought this beastie:

and then it snowed. A lot.

If I'm honest, it was a bit of a pup and wasn't really worht the £1680 I paid for it. It had had a big side swipe at some point in its life seeing all of the panels on the left hand size had been replaced. Poorly. After a while I noticed "some corrosion" on one of the sills, poked it with my finger and a large part instantly turned to dust, followed by several sheets of newspaper! Ouch.

Anyway after about 3 months I sold it for £1500 to a friendly man from Sweden who was going to be racing it in some kind of MX5 championship over there. He flew drove the 1400 miles back to Sweden, in a car I would put earplugs in for a 120 trip from Leamington to Braintree. Ouch.

At about the same time (FebruaryMarchish 2010) I decided to sell my previous motorbike and buy this ridiculous thing. It had done 800 miles when I bought it and had all the toys I wanted. Yum

So after many car swaps here and there I found a bike I wanted to keep. As of today that bike has done 7000 miles and I've got no reason to want anything else!

...more later.

In April of last year it became clear that enough MX5 was enough and having the money from my Focus still sitting in my account, and some extra savings on top of that I decided I didn't really need a house just yet.

I've always wanted one of these, I just didn't quite expect to be able to do it so soon:

This was my only car for 3 months, a few things went wrong with it - mainly electrical. I think it was the shock of being used outside! Anyway that was all fixed at minimal cost but I decided to get a runaround. I looked at a lot of cheap diesels but decided that I'd rather enjoy driving a runaround so for the princely sum of £700 I bought this:

and those 3 now make up my "fleet". The only one I'd be tempted to change any time soon is the Puma I think. It would be more sensible to have an estate with my other vehicles being so impractical!

Oh and just for the record, my escort was Honda Long Beach Blue :thumb:
