My first car was a mk4 Escort 1.6 Ghia in burgundy which drank more oil then it did fuel, but that was in the days before I had a digi cam so hence no pics

then came my first decent car, a mk6 escort 1.6 Zetec which I subtley modified with escort cosworth brakes, GMax suspension (-60mm), strut brace, K&N Filter and a powerflow/rage hybrid exhaust

Early in feb '05, a Kev decided to sell his car, a mk4 escort RS turbo with a 225bhp ZVH engine, coilovers, big brakes etc etc so I decided it was time to experiance my first turbo'd car...

but it was too unreliable and drank optimax like it was going out of fashion (circa 12mpg around town and low 20's on a long run) but when it was running it was an absolute ANIMAL and with it weighing less then 1000kg's, scared a lot of bigger cars, as the driver of a R32 GTR found upto 140+ units on stretch of tarmac somewhere when he couldnt shake me off but inevitably led to the demise of the headgasket

So in july 2005, after 6 months of unreliablilty, I plumped for an old mans car... an E46 BMW 325Ci SE

The car was fantastic to own, never let me down and was a dream to own. it ticked all the right boxes apart from one... excitement. there simply was none so then after trying a friends dc2 out, I knew VTEC was for me so after a lot of searching and checking my finances, I bought my current car just over a week ago
