stoo2000
So, I want to strip the paint, and stone chip type stuff off the bottom of the car. (back to bare metal). I need to use products that have a very long life, that stop/prevent corrosion etc. I know you can't really tell from the picture, but this is the state it's in at the minute (plus a coat of black hammerite)http://www.orioncosworth.co.uk/images/galleries/thebuild2009/1243368716-img_2659.jpg Any suggestions ? I'll post this in cosmetics too.
stoo2000
After a short break there has been some progress again. A number of suspension components were dropped off to a local powdercoating company, should be ready on Friday (hopefully). Also started painting some other smaller bits, propshaft & pedals http://www.orioncosworth.co.uk/images/galleries/thirdtimeluckybuild2012/1344464409-wp_000018.jpghttp://www.orioncosworth.co.uk/images/galleries/thirdtimeluckybuild2012/1344464418-wp_000020.jpg

Eternal piece of mind. That won't fit, I've got the original pedal box, although slightly modified. I did see that you could get the parts from Ford for this conversion for a Fiesta, I guess it's possible they do that for an Escort too.
