Danderton Posted February 17, 2003 Posted February 17, 2003 I've managed to narrow the problem down mate. The problem is, something is shorting them out. I hope this information is of great help to you!

Al Posted February 17, 2003 Posted February 17, 2003 .....Was it like this when you brought it?............did you try the lights? If all was ok, what have you done since that may affect this? What have you disturbed as this is where you start! Good luck.Al.
Evv Posted February 17, 2003 Posted February 17, 2003 what have u changed on the in side inside u bought it?
Chris Posted February 17, 2003 Author Posted February 17, 2003 they were all working perfectly until last night i have only put my cd player in but they worked after i put that in aswell. Ive got it booked into a auto electric place so lets see what this is gonna cost me. Atleast itll be done right
Evv Posted February 17, 2003 Posted February 17, 2003 coz when i put my radio in my fez it kept blownin fuses coz there was a lose wire but once taped up it was ok
furry Posted February 17, 2003 Posted February 17, 2003 ok unplug yr loom for the ashtray, now replace fuse, fixed?? should be!! common prob, causes all right hand side lights to stop working and also the dial illumination.
Chris Posted February 17, 2003 Author Posted February 17, 2003 well i found the problem a wire got caught in the cd player cage when i put cd player back in and it was causing fuses to blow. They garage only charged me 15 quid and they were on for a hour with it and checked all the electrics over so i know thats sorted one problem they did find was that the airbag fuse had been taken out so that when u put one back in itll be on all the time they gave me a quote for how much it would cost it was gonna be like 25 quid for the part plus a little bit extra for fitting so i will probably get that sorted soon, as i want everything to be working right on the car b4 i start modding it.
Chris Posted February 18, 2003 Author Posted February 18, 2003 yup all sorted so now just need to start the modding process
