Danderton Posted February 23, 2003 Posted February 23, 2003 (edited) I finally got around to fitting the Pioneer 6 disc cd changer that I got for xmas on Friday. My front passenger seat has always been a bit flakey with locking into position. I normally have to slide it right to the back and then push it forward to get it to lock into place. And then when I took this seat out to fit the cables under the carpet, a Shite load of baal bearings went rolling everywhere, and a short blue rod which looked like a small gear shaft or something also came out. Is this why my seat is Shite at locking into place? If so, where do i go to get em fixed? They are the original ford seats. Cheers Dan Edited February 23, 2003 by Danderton
sortedford Posted February 23, 2003 Posted February 23, 2003 The cheapest way mate will to be to get another subframe, or another seat and subframe from the scrapyard if u can find one
Danderton Posted February 23, 2003 Author Posted February 23, 2003 Cool. If it gets any worse I will have to do that. Thing is there never seem to be any mk6 escorts in my local scrappies. Dan
