Dodgy electrics

I own a 97 gti and im having some Shite with elctrics.

Rear wiper only works part time,

Boot release button turns my rear heated screen on,

Rear fog light turns main beam on,

and rear heated screen button turns the rear fog light button on even though the fog light doesn`t come on.

 

Anyone experience problems like these and any advice would be great

Yep, think we`ve all had that at one time or another, there`s a long explaination of why somewhere, something to do with wires getting caught and trapped and fraying somewhere near where it bends at the top of tailgate.

i had the same problem with my rear wiper didnt work at times but i found the bad earth and it worked again just look for a bad earth and it might work again
