ok can anyone please give me some help here, has anyone had this problem......

drive the car hard and the engine runs sound as a pound no problem, but sit it on the motorway cruising at a steady 70 and it starts to missfire like a hell beast! it's been back in to the garage 3 times already for this as it's under warranty, so far they have changed the plugs, checked the HT leads (so they tell me anyway), changed the coil pack for some unknown reason cos they said there was sod all wrong with it but though it was worth a try! had the ecu read twice (once by ford).

it's really starting to annoy hell out of me now, so if any of you very very kind ppl can give me any clues i'll love ya for eva ;)

 v good!

it's just annoying mate, i wanted a GTI for ages and now i got one i feel kinda disapointed with it. don't get me wrong, when it runs good it really does run good but when it starts pissing around it annoys hell out of me.

i'm thinking of selling it and getting a pick up at least i'd be able to get my bikes in the back of that lol

ok guys so where do u think i stand with all this? it's still under warranty for the next month but the place i bought it from are getting a bit off with me saying that they can't find a fault with it. but they never actually take it out they only sit there with the gameboy plugged in and it doesn't miss a beat on idle, the only way it got checked by ford was cos i called in a favour from a mate who works there but one of the computers was down or something so they couldn't even check it properly.

do i have grounds to go kicking ass or am i just stuck with the bloody thing running shite?! give me some ideas here!
