very grubby car! this time of year and many motorway miles sends alot of filth up the car, fitted my front flaps to help elevate the problem.

Used the Megs super glass towel and the Megs glass cleaner, very impressed with the results... have nice clear glass!

Fitted a little mesh to front, its cabled tied in for now while glue sets.

1st decent (ish, poor light and rain doesnt help) pics of the new nudge strips down the sides.

Looks very good, car has definately changed for the better :thumb:

thanks

Very nice car Love the mods so far My finesse had similar mods to it before it went - I do miss that car  Anything planned for it?

Not too much planned for this in the near future... as not the time, money or weather! Just a few small things still, sill protectors, color code the number plate light.

Come the new year want to sort the audio out as its still the standard head unit and up rated speakers, want to get a hard drive fitted in there, with sub and decent head unit. Then a magnex.... tints and see where i'm at :thumb:

  • 2 weeks later...

Added the 2nd fog light to rear.

My thanks to Steve for explaining how to in simple terms for me to understand lol!

took the boot inside trim off, lots of little screws,I got a Fog light bulb holder from a breakers, then extended the bit of wires on it to reach from the other fog light. Then using scotchlock connectors, blue things look like this:

make connecting into exisiting loom really easy!

wiring diagram looks like this:

with one of the said connectors in use:

then worked fine:

so i take it that bulb isnt a fog bulb as the brightness difference is huge. I wired in my twin fogs last weekend too. i aint looking unsymmetric in foggy conditions lol.Theyre also great for getting the message across to saxo drivers who tailgate u while having front fogs on for no reason

looks great , and the little mods are good.... apart from them god awful flaps. they wouldnt look good on an RS so they're not going look good on your sorry mate, all my personal opinion of course

yeah exactly so no need to take the opinion then :P

in my eyes "my opinion okay :pancake: " they do look good on the car :thumb: they suit the silver colour of the escort ;) end of the day some nice cars in fast ford have them aswell and performance ford and cosmetically look sweet with the same mudflaps u deem " wouldnt look good"

and good little modifications JC ;)

regards lamb
