Its gone to a new home for a bit for its engine to be played with! :-( my method of cleaning: 1) soak with pressure washer and get the loose dirt off2) Using a wash mit and autoglym body work shampoo do the 2 bucket techinque3) Autoglym intensive tar remover down the sides4) rinse off with hose pipe.5) wonder wheels on the wheels and wash off6) Meguirs drying towel all over, makes for a good finish, and ready for polish 7) Autoglym Super resin polish, finshed off with polishing cloths8 ) Meguiars stage 3 wax, using applicator pads finshed off with polishing cloths9) Bumper trim wax on splitter10) Meguirs Nxt Generation Glass Cleaner with MEGUIARS GLASS DUO-FIBRE SUPER TOWEL, really makes the glass clean! to glass and lights and plates Didnt bother wth tyre dressing and metal polish on the exhaust.... JC
how do people stop that wire rubbing across the rocker cover? Looks good mate How comes it was away for so long? Well wanted it repaired by the place that built my brother's engine, had to wait just over a week for them to have time to work on it, then they found needed new thermostat and housing... and apparently they got sent the wrong one so took rather a while! had a spare car, and allowed me to save up a little!
