^yeah shd do, that evo meet sounds good!

thought i'd add some pics from the weekend as cleaned it! And as i'm missing it! Its gone to a new home for a bit for its engine to be played with! :-(

my method of cleaning:

1) soak with pressure washer and get the loose dirt off

2) Using a wash mit and autoglym body work shampoo do the 2 bucket techinque

3) Autoglym intensive tar remover down the sides

4) rinse off with hose pipe.

5) wonder wheels on the wheels and wash off

6) Meguirs drying towel all over, makes for a good finish, and ready for polish

7) Autoglym Super resin polish, finshed off with polishing cloths

8 ) Meguiars stage 3 wax, using applicator pads finshed off with polishing cloths

9) Bumper trim wax on splitter

10) Meguirs Nxt Generation Glass Cleaner with MEGUIARS GLASS DUO-FIBRE SUPER TOWEL, really makes the glass clean! to glass and lights and plates

Didnt bother wth tyre dressing and metal polish on the exhaust....

Pics dont really do the paintwork justice:

hate silver cars for that fact above.... you can't see hardwork untill you get up close and personal...

Very much so matey, Panther black looks so better when shiny,m thou the silver has grown on me... its easier to keep clean i reckon!

Just read this post from start to finish and i must say this car is looking mint!!

Can see that alot of hard work has gone into her!

also very helpfull, as im looking at fitting my spats and skirts soon.

Keep up the gd work m8!

cheers matey, one reason for a running thread shows where the car came from and how i did things, be it simple, to inspire / help others! Just wish i was more mechainically minded to do more on that side of things!

tht nice shiney new cam covers gonna look mate, carry on the gd work

Looks good mate How comes it was away for so long?

Well wanted it repaired by the place that built my brother's engine, had to wait just over a week for them to have time to work on it, then they found needed new thermostat and housing... and apparently they got sent the wrong one :nutter: so took rather a while! had a spare car, and allowed me to save up a little!
