too much oil

I topped up the oil in the pug cos the dash gague said it was low! so topped it up till it said it was full!

then today i checked the dipstick and its about 5 mm over the max mark!!

 

will this cause any damage?

whats the easiest way to drain a little bit of oil?

let the sump plug out until it starts to drip alittle ( make sure you don't undo it to much )then check it til its at the right level and do it on the flat , ie , not jacked up >> :sonic: Stu.ART

Whilst it's never a good idea to overfill your oil, 5mm isn't too bad if you would rather leave it.Al.

should have let it be propper cool and standin before you checked it mate
