15" will be better for "performance". You wont spot any difference on low speeds it just looks better. On high speed (+60 mph) 15" will be better in the responses; 17" will slow you down a bit as of the "masstheory"..

cheers love that car in your sig

Thanks mate, its mine and soon up for sale!

loved the look of my gti on 17's prefered the handling on 15s coz it was more 'flickable', on 17's it tended to grip a bit too much then feel horrible as it reached its limit with the 15's it was progressive and more confidence inspiring on roundabouts etc....

altho the 17's solved my ground clearance problems lol

cheers for all the coments not sure on what to do if you see my other thread(spoted in milton keynes) i left my no on his car called me yesterday.the for sale cards where not about the car.he is going to sell but said he will sell only as a standard car.the wheels/morettes/exhaust/lots of chrome on engine are weeks old so would lose a lot of money if that makes sence.the car is mint and i mean mint no rust no srapes its like bloody new, milege 27,000 all mots.garaged all its life.and when it was spoted in milton it was its first time out in 4 mths.he said its just not worth keeping anymore its just not used few 100 miles a year.any way back to the wheels he said £250 theres 5 brand new and 100% mint.he has heard of this forum but said when ever cars are up for sale on here it ends up as a slaging match.P.S THIS IS NOT A FOR SALE THREAD so please don,t ask me its not mine..
