majorj0nny
Since my current project to make my own smoked headlights seems destined to flop on its arse - wheres the best place to get new smoked headlights from ? Id kinda like ones that have the black plastic units rather than the grey ones cause I think that will look neat too... but Ive noticed some of the smokes headlights have black plastic while others are just standard. ScORTED
probably, the leveling is pretty irrelevant unless you have a van or like to hainously over load your escort http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ford-Escort-MK6-Smok...1QQcmdZViewItem

I get the impression they sell what they dont have, then when they get orders for stuff they srub around trying to source what they have already sold for as cheap a price as possible. mexico_16v
GBK have the part's in stock almost alway's but the customer service is shite, i was told that if i paid for the postage to send back the headlight's they would refund me. i did and they never repaid me nor did they fix the problem
majorj0nny
RIGHT .... can anyone with these smoked headlights please tell me what colour plastic the lights are made out of ? It really doesnt matter to the function of the things I know - but as you can see above the main outser plastic casing is BLACK as opposed to the standard grotty grey/cream plastic colour ... Now Ive seen these smoked headlights made in black plastic and in the standard cream plastic.... since EVERYTHING in my engine bay is black - I knida thought it would be nice, if they were available, to have black plastic headlights .... purely as a COSMETIC thing. this has NOTHING to do with the smoked feature of the lights - I understand that. now http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=180010076685 this bloke ( katmotorsport )- I asks if the lights are black or cream... firstly he said he didnt understand what I mean ... I tried my best to explain further in as simpler a way as I can... he comes back with "the lenses are smoked" ... After more of me trying my damdest to get through - he comes back with "does it matter" .... right .... obviously it does to me cause I wouldnt be wasting my time going on about it... im getting the impression the dude loves his headlights a little too much and dont really wanna sell em ???????? give me strength...
