steve_sport_scort
i've seen these for the escort cos, the front strut brace looks like the bar car be removed from the two fixing brackets.im after something similar for the rear of my car as i often need the full boot space and put the seats down, so a big bar in the way would be a pain, and i dont want the hassle of having to remove it all the time,i've also noticed that alot seem to be fitted through the side wall carpets, are there any where you dont have to do that?, so on that just bolts on the top of the sturt towers (like the front)i want to keep the car as original as possible and not have to cut holes in everything

majorj0nny
I got a static rear strut brace and it is a pain in the arse sometimes - but I dont really carry anything big, and a few times Ive really filled the car up (seats down etc) with a mass of old wood, rubbish etc for the dump - stuff fits round the bar quite well... My bar is static and It was a nightmare fitting - so there is NO WAY i can take it off just to use the boot more - id find use of another car first. Adam_JJ
So does anybody know where you can get a MK6 rear strut brace? I see Sparco do one for the MK5, I wonder if this could be drilled to fit a MK6? Anyone tried?
Danzetec
Wo, this thread is over a year old! Yeah most people buy the sparco mk5 one and drill the holes out to fit mk6 That rose jointed one is proper expensive and imo unnessercary for it to be rose jointed anyway
