danposs86 Posted June 28, 2007 Share Posted June 28, 2007 (edited) M-Sport For those that don't know, M-Sport build, develop and run pretty much all Ford rally cars, including the BP Ford Focus WRC car. They do tours of their factory, which is based in Cockermouth, Cumbria, which includes: Tour of workshop / Hall / Museum & Service vehicles*Souvenir information pack for each visitorCoffee/biscuits upon arrival Tours are run Tuesday & Thursday (seasonal) from 6pm. It's £150 per group (minimum 10, maximum 15). SO if ten go thats £15 each. Its also in a very scenic location in Cumbria so we could meet up during the day before hand for a meal/drink or blast around the country roads lol. I am going to email them and see what dates are free (asking for dates when the Focus WRC cars are in the workshop). The new WRC rally stars on the 3rd, with testing before hand, so it may be during July. So whos interested? UPDATE: Just called M-Sport and was told that they are very busy but have been recommended two dates, Tuesday 18th sept and Thursday 27th Sept. Tuesday 18th Septemberis the best date as there is more chances of the WRC cars being in the workshop before they leave for the Spanish Rally.
