Im needing two new front tyres, just had a look on Camskill and they have Toyo Proxes T1R for £56 and the T1S's for £58......My question is, which is better ?

Im sure i remember someone telling me to avoid one of them last time i did this post but due to posts being deleted i cant check.....

They also have FALKEN ZE512 ZIEX on there for £43 are the Toyo's going to be much better ?

Also does anyone know the cheapest place to get tyres from? the best so far is Camskill, as anyone ordered from them, what are they like ?

And my last question does anyone in the Manchester area know of somewhere decent to get tyres fitted, i want someone who knows what they are doing and not a chimp who is gonna scuff all the wheel in the process....

Cheers

After trying all 3 tyres i have to say the toyo tr1's were the best, the t1's had problems with won edges, hence the new tread pattern of the tr1, the falken 512 has the roll shoulder or the clearance on slammed car's, but don't grip at all, i have found out that yokohama are the way to go with the parada spec 2's the best, but if can't afford that much then get the yoko 539's they are imo the best out of toyo and falken. Good grip (i found that both tread pattarns on the toyo slide out easy) and the falken's where just useless in the wet so i'd go for yokohama prada spec 2's (they are pretty much a cut slick) hope this help's :thumb:

eBay is the best bet fo any of these tyres, and so idon't make myself sound like a know it all i'm a tyre fitter

No experience of the toyos so wont bother guessing randomly

I have zeix ze512s on the front of my estate and i regret buying them, they look good, they have a nice shoulder that reduces the chance of scrubbing but in the wet u may aswell have tonka toy plastic tyres on,theyre worse than Pirreli P9000s on 14" steelies.

If u can afford em go for a good OEM tyre like contisport contacts. Standard fit on ST170s and many other new cars
