M44K TS
As above really, my van has the boring black dials and digi miles but no rev couner. Quick question, would Pum dials fit and work? They look the same and i know i would have to run the signal wire from the altenator to get the rev counter working. Any ideas?

stoo2000
the later escort van, and the last escorts came with these digital dials, VanMan_Jas figured out most of the wiring for them Almost forgot too, we've got a user submitted guide here: http://www.escortevolution.co.uk/howto/view.php?id=
M44K TS
cool, as i say, my van alrady has the same style dials in with the digi miles so i was hoping for a straight swap
RyanML
puma/fiesta dails are identical to the escort ones, and if your van already has the digital part they should go straight in, but im sure that somthing on them wont work or somthing im not sure, but they will fit in there lol. M44K TS
excellent stuff, a mate of mine has a spare set lying about, might try and twist his arm so he sells me them
Craig855S
if ur digi's up already then they shud work, the tacho may need the feed wired in,apparently the rev feed on TDs is from the alternator, if u got a petrol its a plug on the ECU, check haynes for which one
white_van_man
yep for tacho feed on diesels you normally just run a wire from the spare terminal on alternator up to pin8 on the blue connector in the dash but being that you have digi clock set the terminal where the tacho feed comes in will be different probably you'd need to check some wiring diagrams
M44K TS
i'll bare that in mind, i'll have a go at putting them in and seeing if they work first then i'll try linking the tacho in oh and by the way, the thread title should say MK6 not mk6

Hezz
i think that puma / fiesta and escort ones are all the same - have they got differing part numbers?

My escort had digi dials to start with and were a straight swap over for white puma dials, everything worked fine
M44K TS
just tried all 3 sets, Puma clocks the airbag light is always on. Other 2 fiesta ones are fine. Only problem is, my van didn't have a rev counter to start off with. Anyone know ehich pin on the 32 pin clock plug the rev counter signal goes to I don't want to start just trying any pin incase i blow something up lol
