i've set a day aside to wash and polish the old girl for castle combe

 

im thinking in this order:

 

1) wash with megs wash and conditioner

2) t-cut to bring the red back from pink

3) use the megs 3 step polish proghramme

4) use megs gold glass wax

 

i know people say about claying etc, but i cant afford to. the budget is so tight at the mo...

i remember Joe said that a meguirs product is better than t-cut but can't remember where i read it, other than that, yep thats the order id use

Eliminate no.2! the megs step 1 will do plenty of restoration, and when you use the three step programme, dont use the step three, just use your gold class wax

 

If you have a good polish lying about (Autoglym SRP) Apply that between the step 1 and 2 so:

 

1) wash

2) megs step 1

3) SRP

4) Megs step 2

5) Megs Wax.

 

That extra step of polishing will do you wonders

 

You can get a clay bar, and a clay luybe for about £12 posted from cleanyourcar

oops, i went ahead and did it anyway, washes, t-cutted, the used step 2, the gold class wax. my spoiler is still alittle pink, but 100x better than before, was almost white!

the quarters were, they were getting really bad, but sorted now! the spoiler was terrible, going to spray it i think, stop the thing fading.

 

i hate having a red car! can see all the different shades of radiant red! and all the not so radiant bits. the bonnet is older than my car and its better nick! so much fresh paint aswell, so its like a harlequin but a little less subtle

you should jus invest in one of those mop things mate, they work wonder's, my mate used one on he's 2i and it come out better than new imo

i havent been pulled yet - but could happen tomorrow. i did a shop with tinted lights and it looks quite cool, but i think i'll leave it as project number 2 is coming underway shortly...
