if he can pay by paypal, jus tell him to get the fund's out into cash sorta thing, or make a different paypal account and as soon as you have the money, send it to your proper one...

Thats a good call there, He wants the car by monday, so Id imagine his paypal is over £500, and his bank is zilch..... or he's a lying scumbag.

couple points...if his paypal is linked to a card...they payment will be instant...if its linked to his bank account...will go through as an e-cheque 7-9 working days...so it could be cancelled just tell him he can pay via paypal...but you want the funds to clear first

Duffa, my paypal is directly linked to my bank, If my paypal is on 0.00, funds come out of my bank immediately.

Yep, mine too.

Even after you have withdrawn the money from your PayPal account into your bank account (i.e all cleared etc), if PayPal deem the source of the funds were fraudulent, they will simply reverse the transaction, even if that means putting your PayPal account £500 in the red :nutter:

i wouldnt let him take the car until the payment had cleared, and like previously said.. if he has his paypal set up on his debit/credit card get him to get the cash out at the bank and pay like that.. or tell him hes welcome to buy the car for 500 but funds must clear first..
