RS2000
Is it just me getting old, or is this place going downhill I don't really bother much on here anymore, and a look at the main page right now shows why.All it contains is "Hi i'm new" threads this is not as bad as what all these newbies ( which of course are very welcome and also needed) get to read.I've never seen so many locked threads and threads that have been moved Whats happened to the fun on here, and for those with escorts all the info? badboyclub
if evos going down hill its the members not contributing to the site enough and most definatly not contributing to shows and certain members only posting to cause trouble Edited July 9, 2007 by badboyclub
ryan_gwa
Yeah fair play. I havent done much for the site in a while. Mostly come on for some quick questions. As for the 'Noobs'. Maybe the Mods should make new member section? Keeps all the clutter away?
Joe
I dont know what you mean mate... I think certain people are getting very arsey, petty, and picking on people!
PeeWee
I cant speak for everyone but tbh the closed threads lately have either been closed by the topic starter or general trash.I try to leave threads open tbh to let them develope into something rather than hit the close button at once.Take for instance the one started a few nights ago titled "banter anyone" then moaning it would get closed.Yet i leave it open for 5 hrs & what happens, just what was expected, nothing but tripe & spam.Moved topics a purely down to people not paying attention to relevent sections.Theres also too many that take light banter too seriously & take it upon themselves to then go off on one throwing abuse.Escort info though seems good to me with many questions going answered fully? cossy
i have noticed that members/users that have been on here for a few years do act differently to us members that have been on for less than a couple of months which in turn can make us newbies a bit iffy about going to shows which in turn doesnt help the club if you know what i mean lack of members on the stands and just people in general supporting EVO Well thats just my opionion im sure i will get some remarks about it

2.8i TIC
Is it really so odd?? its summer, how many of you wouldnt rather spend the days outside with your cars, and other stuff, than sitting infront of a computerscreen?? Take Rs-mania for example, its quiet there also, and passionford, and all the other forums...
sebsescort
I haven't been here long, but the like this site. it is well layed out, nice friendly people, the best advice. ive seen and visited other forums but this one is the best and why i have stayed here a few topics are started to cause trouble etc. but thats not EVO its members/users. if those certain people weren't around there wouldn't be anything wrong
RS2000
Newbies should be made as welcome as possible, they are the future members.Alot of us old timers no longer own Escorts so not welcome at shows (as show cars not as visitors)Just seems alot of bickering on here. ryan_gwa
There is alot of bickering. Seems that when newer people arrive and ask a straight forward question, that they get ridiculed with stupid comments, instead of the answers they were looking for? Anyone else feel or seen the same? shawdreamer
There is alot of bickering. Seems that when newer people arrive and ask a straight forward question, that they get ridiculed with stupid comments, instead of the answers they were looking for? Anyone else feel or seen the same? fair comment there I could have easily made the same mistake myself as Ive only just arrived obviously, but it doesnt take a genius on first coming across this site to see that there is a great deal of help available before they would even need to ask a question directly. My reason for first finding this site was to gain insight into the ever annoying ICV, I used the search feature to see if anyone else had suffered similiar side effects and problems as I had before I even considered asking a question, turns out I didnt even need to ask and plenty off material was available to diagnose the problem I think thats were most new to site people go wrong, they opt for the simple and sometimes lazy method of just asking and not putting a bit of effort into looking first, bare in mind most the long-termers have heard these questions over and over and OVER again and are rightly a bit reluctant to go over them again
