rear lights blank canvas

did a massive pod light mod on my previous Mk5's rear clusters (wish Id kept pics), the eventual result was a exagerated versions of a gtr 32 skyline cluster, was very pleased with it, they pretty much sold the car themselves infact lol

now Ive got my Mk6 Im wanting to do something along the same lines but figured Id throw it out to suggestions, considering the original Mk5's I did and the work involved to acheive it Im not particularly arsed whats involved with these ones but Im considering a less pronounced and subtle look to match the style Ill be laying the rest of the car out in. only stipulation Im sticking with is the colour matching shown below

lets hear what wonderful (and more than likely deranged) ideas you lot can cook up?

I aint askin for photoshops before anyone flaps, gimme ideas or even point out some examples from other cars..... Ill do the rest myself

fpmsl... good comedy value but other than that...

thing to do is smooth the lights into the body work... and have a bodyshop spray them, with laquer mixed with your cars colour so when not lit p nothing no signs of lights but they light up when in operation ;)

that works fine during the night but the none visuals during the day are blatantly obvious and rozzers just love pulling me over for them........ as you can guess...been there...done that... loved it...filth didnt lol

they can enact a law that basically says all vehicle lighting and road going lights shud be clearly visible day or night, believe it or not it actually applys to some of the smoked aftermarket lexus blacks that you can buy everywhere and are even stamped "UK road legal"...its basically up to them wether they use it or not and total blank-outs often have them frothing at the mush

joe>>> probably

if the level of tint is correct the lights will be clearly visible during the day - which the offtheshelf E marked lexarse lights are, and with the correct laquer/paint mix you can have them, visible in day light!

my half tints have 3 very light coats on them and are perfectly visible in day light a good bodyshop could get the lights just right - the only problem you'd have then is the need for rear reflectors but you can be just as ingenious with those too
