Carl160180
I'm picking some up this weekend for £25 for the pair but I gotta take them off the car myself, i've e-mailed a couple people breaking v6 mondeos this week and the going rate is anything from £25 to £50 a pair, IIRC the mk1 and mk2 calipers are the same and there is only one type so can't go far wrong

Craig855S
ebay is ur best bet mate, just search for people breaking V6s and PM them and ask what they want for the calipers. I got mine for 20 posted

BITCH! lol its a wonder why everyone doesnt upgrade theyre brakes cos a DIY V6 upgrade is cheaper than taking ur car to kwik fit for a standard size pad and disc change

How is a V6 upgrade cheaper than taking your car to kwik fit for standard pads and discs? If you ain't capable of fitting pads and discs to a std escort then you ain't ever gonna fit calipers pads and dics and bleed the system yourself so will still haev to take it to a garage or kwik fit to fit which will cost even more! Trig
I have to say scoop, the man has a point. It doesnt cost that much more to get mondy v6 brakes over a set of decent discs and pads for standard escort brakes, and standard mondy v6 brakes on an escort easily outperform uprated discs and pads on standard escort calipers

BITCH! lol No BUT i've just ordered a pair of lockhead (top quality) esc cos discs from the place I work and ended up getting the pair for £33 (thats including my 25% off) cos the supplier listed them wrong, listed and priced them as a single disc but they came in a box in a pair Beat that homme  Although decent mondeo 278mm type pads cost me £32! Grey Ghost
How difficult is it to fit the moneo disks & calipers to the escort? Are they a straightish swap or do the mounting points need changing?
Carl160180
To fit the mondeo v6 calipers, infact ANY mondeo caliper from the mk1/mk2 mondeo all that needs doing is the mounting holes in the hub need drilling out to 10mm and spacers (or washers if ya tight ) used between the calipers carriers and hub
