Stu
It's not a general cleaning product! It's for bodyshops..
Ed_van_Dijk
yeah i guessed that coz its hard to get hold of, How does this compare to something like T-cut or paint renevator? what does it actually do?
Stu
G3 is medium cutting compound.. you're supposed to use it wet with a mop... it's not polish, or t-cut, or anything like it! It's for flatting/polishing cars after painting!
PeeWee
What colour is it your doing mate.It basicaly removes layers of faded paint to reveal the fresh paint underneath, hard work.Heres an example on radient red. After cutting it will need polishing then wax to seal it. End result is like this after wax. Edited July 13, 2007 by PeeWee

Craig855S
dont use G3 unless the car has been painted and not finished properly. Just use a couple of megs polishes to get the paint smooth and swirl free
Stu
You certainly won't be using G3 very many times

PeeWee
was that by hand pete ?Yes it was mate but as stu rightly points out it isnt a polish & shouldnt be used as one.Its for paint renovation rather than cleaning.
