escortgti98
the time has come for me to make a decision on which suspension and set up to go for on my mk6 escort. so it would be a great help if people could post some side on pics and let me know what mm set up and what brand dampers, springs, coilovers you have used. also what size alloys you have and whether you have come across any problems, eg camber changes/tyre wear. cheers guys look forward to seeing your cars. plumber60
wat would u say for 18 on a mk6 coilovers or shocks and springs and wat is the lowest i can drop it on 18srecommend no lower than 30mm... but... some have lowered it a looooong way further using coilovers wouldn't mind something capable for both but mostly road for now,Koni/Avo/Bilstein/Similar adjustable shocks with H&R/Eibach springs will be perfect for road use for now and with the addition of poly bushes, strut braces and corner weighting you will have a decent track car too
Jim_RS
I've the yellow (adjustible) Koni shok absorbers and it's dropped 60mm. It's looking good but for driving just a little bit to low.The rims are 7,5x16" with 205-45 rubbers. Grts, Jim_RS

Grts, Jim_RS looks nice and low which was kinda the route i wanted to go but wanna keep 15" -40 on 17`s gets my vote everytime, had no problems at all, didnt catch anywhere. does have a nice stance but as above wanna keep 15" so not sure whether -40 would suit thanks for the response people still thinking it hard to make my mind up i want to keep the rs2000 wheels but with them being only 15" i thought it may need 60 drop to look good but then its gunna sit very low, maybe coilovers might be the answer then i could have -45 or -50 or which ever suits if anyone has 15" and a 40 drop, pics would be much apprecited cheers again people
