sortedford
Right, looking around it looks like different people have gone different routes.I was going to go for the standard RS2k route, but then im thinking ST170, but the cheaper route with the newer Mondeo callipers?Basically i want to be able to pick them up in the scrapyard.Stuff like Willwoods for £200 are out of the question as id also like to remain with Ford parts

plumber60
all varients They're all 1.8 TDCi, 77/90/110 iirc Most likely though would be the LWB versions Edited August 11, 2007 by plumber60
bluliz
Mondeo mk1 and 2 V6 brakes dont cost too much, can get a set for £30 from my local scrappy.... Mondeo mk3's are starting to get more common in scrappy's too.

SaMMy125
got my mondeo mk3 calipers off a breakers up in leeds off ebay for £78 delivered, so thats quite cheap, just depends on what make discs and pads you go for i ended up payin £150 ish for the ford st170 discs and ford uprated ferodo pads , but the calipers did come with pads and the cheapest discs i found where £24 each Apec, so you could do a 300mm upgrade for around the £100 mark if you dont want uprated bits Edited August 11, 2007 by SaMMy125

ScORTED
if you've got halfrauds trade you should be able to get escos discs for about £50 then a bit of shopping around on ebay will find you pads for about £10 - i'd say the ST setup if a bit better but then you'r stuck needing 16" wheels as a minimum, whereas you can fit 15's over the cosworth/v6 setup
