plumber60
What do you mean by intake hole? Im assuming you mean the O/D of the MAF?Going to buy a universal cone filter?Buy a Pipercross panel and leave the airbox
escort_paul
yeah i mean the diameter of the pipe that the cone will fix onto. Paul
ScottSummerhayes
Like plumber said, get a pipercross pannel filter and drill the box or if you really want get a full K&N Induction kit. Dont bother with cheap cone filters!
plumber60
yeah i mean the diameter of the pipe that the cone will fix onto. Paul That is not a pipe...That is part of the airbox lid Unclip it from the MAF and your new cone if thats what you intend will fit over this much in the same way as the lid from the airbox did. But... you will have to remove the airbox. As said... Induction cone filter without proper shroud i.e. a viper... will create a power loss rather than any negligible gain. Foam pipercross panel filter in a standard airbox will help the engine breath better... but... dont expect it to be as good as a bottle of cosworth boost EDIT: If you do decide to lose the airbox would you post it to DN31 2NU please lol Edited August 13, 2007 by plumber60
